Sunday Funday
Today I spent brunch/lunch with my parents and the dog at Lake Michigan. The weather is just absolutely gorgeous right now! Surfers were actually at the beach and before it gets freezing out, I want to join them! I also realized that this month was my first time in Chicago's September since 2006. Being back in the midwest has been so great so far. I'm just a little nervous about winter, but I'll cross that bridge when it approaches.

Black & Blue
Yesterday I had my first ever, Black & Blue beverage, and now I am obsessed! Black & Blue is Guinness and Blue Moon and yumm its delicious!
First Polyvore Set - Rebel
I created an account for Polyvore a few years back, and I never understood how to use it, but I think I got it figured out now... This is my first set, I've been attaching myself to black and dark colors lately, probably because I have snacked too much and worked out too little (or not at all.. eep).

Sunday Funday
Yesterday my dad, brother, brother's roomie, and I went to the Cardinals @ Cubs game. My mother didn't want to join because she swore she would never attend a game at Wrigley Field. Well, I wish she joined because we actually had the rooftop seats, which are at one of the many converted houses just across the street from the field. The rooftop was very enjoyable because food, drinks, and ice cream was included in the ticket. I like the Rooftop better than the SkyBoxes because you get to run into people you know, and get to socialize with new people. Almost half the crowd was Cardinal fans, which made it even more enjoyable to see some normal people on the north side.

flashback friend friday
Besides my very first neighbor, Francesca was my first official best friend. My mother, brother, and I briefly moved to Valpo, IN and she live directly across the street from us. What was even better was that her birthday was only 3 days before mine. One summer day we even noticed we have the same exact swimsuit.
Although I've only moved a few times in my life, I've attended over 10 schools from K-12 which means I've met alot of friends, but also kind of lost some friends. Francesca is someone who has helped me gain some great memories. Just two months ago I was randomly in Valpo, and low and behold, we ran into each other at Target! She noticed me in the shoe section and she was buying the exact same black sandals that I had on that day. Same swimsuits, same sandals... great friends shop alike haha.

-graduated from Arizona State University Class of 2011 with a BIS degree
-active volunteer for the Special Olympics since 2001 ((including AZ, IN, & IL))
-born and raised in the windy city of Chicago
-huge white sox and bulls fan, and of course i also loove the blackhawks <3
-dont care for football but i root for da bears ((and any team playing against the packers))
-petless at the moment, although i consider my dad's dog to be mine
-my mom is my favorite person and role model <3
-bananas and wine are my favorites
